Paris is a classic romantic destination. Oui, oui, oui. When visiting Paris, you can’t leave wthout making the required pilgrimage to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees. The Louvre is the premier art museum in the world, with one of the finest art collections containing some of the greatest masterpieces such as the ever smiling Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. The Eiffel Tower is a icon for the City of Lights. The Notre Dame de Paris is a fine example of Gothic architecture, started in the twelfth century, its construction lasted for over one hundred years. The Avenue des Champs-Elysees is the Fifth Avenue or Rodeo Drive of Paris, famous for its luxury shops and high fashion. The City of Lights is a tourist favorite. If you speak French use it as much as possible, it’s preferred by the locals even if they understand English.
London is a modern city, a global fashion, cultural, and financial center of the region. When in London, visit Leicester Square. Leicester Square, in the West End of London, is the entertainment center of the city with many cinemas and where movie star plaster handprints in the floor, much like Hollywood’s walk of fame. The area has many nightclubs in the area, with heavy pedestrian traffic on weekends. The inner shopper in you can’t leave London, without walking and shopping down Oxford Street. I feel that the British Museum deserves at a minimum at least one complete day. The British Museum has the perhaps the largest collection of art and human history. In fact, if you want to see some the greatest art pieces of ancient Greece, you best head to London instead of Athens. And what visit of London can be complete without visiting the Queen at Buckingham Palace for some tea and crumpets or fish and chips.
Prague is known as the Golden City is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and known for the largest most ancient castle. Prague is one of the most visited European destinations. Prague has many sightseeing attractions such as the Prague Castle which is considered the largest ancient castle and has been the home to kings and emperors.
Budapest is a hot destination Central Europe, and widely considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Some of the great cultural and architectural attractions in Budapest include Matyas Church, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and the Great Market Hall. I would say that Budapest is the Tijuana of Europe, as it provides a cheap and easy destination in the region.
Tourists who are looking for the perfect and affordable European getaway, Lisbon is the right choice. Lisbon and the surrounding area is full of rich history, castles, cathedrals, and monuments. Some favorite tourist attractions in Lisbon include the historic neighborhood of Belem and its Belem Tower and Bairro Alto for its night light and shopping.
