Chocolate Festivals Across North America

I don't know who came up with chocolate festivals in the first place, but whoever did deserves a chocolate cover Nobel peace price. If you are a chocolate lover, you can't miss out on all the chocolate delight at the following chocolate festivals. As for me, I am planning my travel schedule around these chocolate festivals.

Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival
San Francisco, California
Chocolate lovers come out of the woodwork to fill their chocolate cravings at the Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival in San Francisco. The Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival is held the beginning of September. Events that the festival include music, chocolate eating contest, cooking demos, and a lot of chocolate confections and treats to eat.

St. Stephen Chocolate Festival
St. Stephen, New Brunswick
The St. Stephen Chocolate Festival is held around the first week of August. The festival lasts for a whole week, with many chocolaty events held each day. The festival also is a great experience not only to taste chocolate but learn how they are made, you can have a chance to make your favorite chocolate truffles.

Chocolate Lovers Festival
Fairfax, Virginia
The Chocolate Lovers Festival is a two day festival usually held in early February. There is plenty of chocolate confections to eat, taste, and enjoy at the Chocolate Lovers Festival. If you are an artist you can even work with chocolate and enter the Chocolate Challenge, where chocolate cakes, sculptures, and masterpieces are judged for their craftsmanship.

This year the Burlington ChocolateFest is being held May 23-26 this year. The ChocolateFest is a three day event full of music, carnival rides, and of course chocolate treats.
